“Every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.

Every morning a Lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you are a Lion or a Gazelle... when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.” ~ Unknown

I, Lynn R. Hoof was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and raised everywhere else. As an infant, I was raised by my mother Evelyn and godparents, Paula and Todd Hendrix... Around the age of four, I found myself in Anchorage, Alaska where my godfather was stationed. He was in the Air Force. Starting in the first grade, I discovered sports such as gymnastics and basketball. I soon lost interest in gymnastics yet went on to continue playing basketball. In the second grade, I moved back with my mom in Little Rock. That is where I found a love for music. My second grade teacher Mrs. Smith used her beautiful voice to teach students a fun and educational way to learn.
